Top amateur jockey Jamie Snowden began training in Ebbesbourne Wake, Wiltshire, in July of this year. We designed a holding site for Jamie, Nicky Henderson's former assistant, and once his training establishment was up and running with horses in training we offered Jamie a re-design at a discounted rate. He's delighted with the result and so are we!
Best-selling and award-winning author Elizabeth Chadwick approached us prior to the launch of her latest novel for a new look for her website. For a site with so much content, breaking the information into manageable pieces was a priority, as was straightforward navigation. We spent a great deal of time working on the graphic elements of the site to great effect and were pleased to provide the photographs which comprise the Framlingham Castle photo gallery (click here to view).
Up and coming Newmarket trainer Marco Botti requested our services in re-designing his website. Working with photographer Mandy Davis, this image-rich design became a jewel in our crown. Marco, whose roots are in Italian racing, is making his mark in the UK, enjoying Group 3 success with the three year old filly, Raymi Coya and no fewer than 37 wins in total during the current season.
Phoenix have been the designers and webmasters for the well-known weimaraner kennel, 'Hollieseast', since 2006. The current website is the third design undertaken and each year we freshen up the site with a brand new look for Norfolk-based client Eve Robinson, Champion weimaraner breeder. New features added this time around include a stud dog page, a news archive and a page dedicated to the progress of their most recent litter of puppies, including video footage.
Having seen examples of our previous work, Phoenix was approached by trainer William Jarvis to redesign his existing website. With horses in his string including Mataram, Gravitation and Smokey Storm, this website receives a high volume of traffic. The news page is updated and illustrated by his secretary on a weekly basis.
Mandy Davis is a photographer specializing in equestrian sports and is making a name for herself in racing circles. Based in Newmarket, her photography business Hoof Print has been commissioned by several top trainers including Peter Chapple-Hyam, Jeremy Noseda and Luca Cumani. Her portfolio is definitely worth a look.
Author Jessie Keane is the newest kid on the crime fiction scene and has been tipped to give Martina Cole a run for her money. Pending the publication of her new novel, Dirty Game, Jessie got in touch following a recommendation. Jessie had quite strong ideas of how she wanted her website to look and we incorporated these wherever possible. In addition to a site design we registered the domain name and provided hosting. Jessie is delighted with her new website and we keep in regular contact as she sends through updates for her reviews page.
Historical fiction author Jane Jackson has been writing for over 30 years. We redesigned her website to showcase her achievements as befits an author short listed for the Parker Romantic Novel of the Year award and the finished product has been well received. Jane has lived in Cornwall since childhood and since many of her books are based there, we felt it would be fitting if the new website reflected this.
Phoenix provided Equine exercise physiology expert and Sports Science consultant David Marlin with a website for his consultancy business. He has recently worked with the International Equestrian Federation (FEI) in the lead up to the 2008 Beijing Olympics advising on climate considerations for the equestrian disciplines.
Fun2play is a children's indoor playground in Thetford, Norfolk. Following a recommendation the proprietors approached us to design their website. The company already had a logo which we incorporated into the design and colour scheme. Phoenix provided photography in addition to our stationery design service, creating new flyers for the business as well as graphics for other promotional material.
How much?
Global Equine Group, founded by equine vet Adam Driver, offers a racing and veterinary management service to its clients. Having designed the original site, Phoenix provided a login facility that allows GEG clients to access their own personal pages and information concerning their horses in training. The GEG secretary is able to access the client pages to update them 'in house' so that news and developments are available the same day.
